Enhancing Customer Experience With A Voice-Based Interface
Consumers are accustomed to interacting with their mobile phones, tablets, computers, and TVs through touch and keyboards. However, advancements and improvements in natural language processing and voice biometric technologies have increased the adoption of voice-based interfaces. Voice commands have been introduced in mobile phones for some time. Taking voice-based interfaces further are devices such as Amazon’s Alexa and similar products that offer digital concierge service to users.
We are searching for innovative solutions that enable existing services and devices with voice-based interfaces, to provide customers with a richer user experience. These solutions could include:
a) new smart home services, such as home automation as well as enhancing the capabilities of existing devices e.g. Set-top boxes and home entertainment systems.
b) voice authenticated and enabled services such as customer care hotlines and kiosks.
